Sunday morning 'In person' Church Services are ON HOLD

All 'in person' Sunday Church Services are ON HOLD until March 15, 2021 due to BC Health Orders to all churches in BC. If any of this changes, it will be posted on this webpage as well as our Facebook page.

Meanwhile....

We are meeting at 10:30 AM Sundays ONLINE for Sunday Church Services using 'Meet' (Google software that's like Zoom or Skype) from our homes. Let us know if you would like to join us.

You can 'ask to join' 5-10 minutes before the start of the service (10:25 AM). There is no software to install. If you're using a cell phone with Android or Apple operating systems, there is a free Google Meet app that you can install to make the process more streamlined.

For internet users:​

  1. The controls for microphone (for muting/unmuting yourself), camera, and leaving the Meet session are at the bottom of the screen.

  2. To see yourself in a larger tile, go to the small screen at the top right corner and click the Tile button.

  3. To type in a message to the group, open the chat sidebar by clicking on the chat icon on the top right toolbar.

  4. Captions are available as an option at the bottom of the screen - this is a good option if it's hard to hear the audio.

  5. You can raise a hand using the button besides captions on the bottom of the screen - we may use this feature for prayer and praise sharing times.

  6. Please mute yourself prior to the service starting. You may already be muted upon joining, and in that case you don't have to worry about it.

  7. If you wish, you can change the layout of the screens to see the main person talking (Spotlight) or everyone on one screen (Tiled). To do this, first go to the bottom right of the screen and click the three dots. Then click "Change layout". ​From there you can see different options.

COBBS Bread and buns…

…are still available! - If you are in need or know someone who is, Cobbs bread is available at the church on Wednesday mornings from 10 AM to 12 Noon. ​THIS HAS NOT BEEN SUSPENDED. Go to the basement door, wearing a mask and please use the hand sanitizer provided. - If you are not able to get there on Wednesday mornings and would like some bread, call Arnold 604-287-6963 or John 778-895-1254.
